27 Weeks

Gosh time flies! I can't believe its already almost New Years!

Jake is growing like a weed. He's about the size of a large eggplant and weighs in around 2 lbs. Crazy!

I still think that this pregnancy has been pretty easy going thus far {though I only have other people's stories to compare it to}. I forget I'm pregnant a lot. Well, that is, until I bump my belly on something, have to find a sweater to wear, or fall asleep at my desk at 2pm. The other day one of my friends and I were talking about our New Year's plans. I actually said, "I don't think I'll have anything to drink that night. I have to work the next morning." She just fell out laughing and it took me a minute to figure out why. Geeeeez. *sheepish grin*

 I've officially given up on a comfy night's sleep. Whether its Jake's ninja moves or my own weird insomnia, I can't seem to make it more than a couple of hours at a time. Oh well, guess I'll be all practiced up for when he arrives. Also looking into getting one of those special pillows...

Jake must have been on Santa's nice list this year! He was spoiled with tons of Christmas presents and J.B.'s family even threw us an impromptu little shower with loads of gifts. They are so excited to have a little one in the family!

And to answer a few other questions that I get asked pretty regularly....

Nope, still no morning sickness {knock on wood!}
Yes, I'm definitely planning on an epidural.
Nope, no stretch marks yet.
Yes, I still have an "innie".
No, I haven't had any weird cravings.
Yes, I can't wait until he gets here!
