Milk Glass - tutorial

I don't know if its the clean white surface or how beautiful they look with fresh flowers, but I seem to have quite the infatuation with milk glass at the moment.

But why pay top dollar for these pieces when you can just make your own?

Are you ready for the simplest tutorial in the history of all tutorials ever on the whole wide earth?
{sure, it sounds like an exaggeration, but really ...}

I grabbed these glass pieces at a local thrift store for $1.50. Make sure to clean up your glass before you paint. Rubbing alcohol with a cotton ball is the simplest thing. Since that's the easiest thing, I obviously didn't have it. {welcome to my life} So I washed mine thoroughly by hand.

Now ... spray paint them. No really. Just do it.

Gloss paint.
Outside only.
2-3 coats.

And you're done! I love it!

Pardon my poorly lit, badly laid out photo below. I promise one day I'll get my photography skills on board.

Considering this is spray paint, you can also do it in any color you want!
Love the blue milk glass!

Or what about for a wedding?

And just for good measure.... milk glass with hydrangeas. :)
