Button Flowers - tutorial

These are cute. For real. And really really really simple.

Materials:

 - button assortment
 - wire {atleast 20 gauge}
 - wire cutters

First, sort out your buttons and choose some of varying sizes. Stack them up.

Cut your wire pieces. I usually make mine about 12" long.
String a stack of buttons onto a piece of wire.

Create a hook at the end of your wire.

String your buttons through the other end of the wire.

Twist the end of the wire around the rest of the stem.

I made an arrangement out of these button flowers. Here are some of my other supplies:
a terracotta pot {spray painted}, some green floral stems, and a floral sponge.

And ta-da!

A little spring-y Mother's Day gift for Mom with a Wal-Mart giftcard.

She just got a Cricut {totally jealous}. So now I'm sure she's off to get some more crafting supplies to make me even more envious with. Dang it.

Maybe some more button flower inspiration?

How cute are these in the glass bottle??

What a creative {and cheap!} bridal bouquet! Love this.

Love the monochromatic theme here. How cute for a little girl's room?

Can't wait to see what you create!!
