brownie covered oreos {recipe}

I took a batch of these to a party the other night, and they went over like gangbusters. I brought what was left of them home and between my husband and my father-in-law, who was spending the weekend with us, they were gone in no time.
My husband specifically called me an angel for making a new batch of these today.
Having said all of that... I think its safe to assume that these are ahh-mazing. They're so easy to make and great for parties or just general chocolate lovers {me}.

Here's all you need!

Well, let me clarify. You'll also need whatever the brownie mix asks for. This is typically listed on the back of the box. To make my brownie mix, I needed:

Also, make sure you have a cupcake pan and something to grease it with.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Make your brownie mix.

 {umm, safety precaution...}

Grease your cupcake pan liberally.

{p.s. if your cooking spray looks like this, you probably shouldn't use it ...}

Now dunk your oreo cookies into the brownie batter. It'll be thick so you'll have to work with the cookie a little bit to coat it.

After you've filled up all the cupcake openings stick the cupcake pan in the oven for 12 minutes.

As soon as you take the pan out of the oven, grab a butter knife and go around the edges of each cookie. Press the edges in towards the center so it looks more like a round cookie and less like a muffin.

I like to let the pan cool for about five minutes. Then I use a large, deep spoon to scoop out the cookies.

Mmmmmmm.

So yummy! And I just finished supper so it is time for dessert ...
